CNC Machinists (All Shifts)
We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts. Custom machining including setup and run, while applying your knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machine capabilities. This position will be responsible for taking a concept or drawing and programming/setting up and operating CNC machining centers for prototype parts.
Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday through Friday starting at 7am
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday starting at 4pm, shift premium differential is available for this shift.
Alternate Shift: Alternate and Flexible shifts available for 2nd and 3rd shift positions, based on machining center availability

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Adheres to company safety rules/policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Works with stainless and high temp alloys including Hast-X, Inconel, 303/304 stainless, 17-4, etc.
- Properly select, align and secure work holding. Must be able to improvise setups using common tooling such as boring soft/hard jaws, collet chucks, specialty tooling, etc.
- Program machine to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut in accordance with material specifications and tooling guidelines.
- Must observe machine operation to predict or detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining conditions and adjust machine controls as required.
- Verify that all machined details meet print and router specifications, using precision measuring instruments and recording data results. Responsible to ensure first piece inspection is completed and acceptable prior to moving on.
- Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area on a daily basis.
- Participate and complete overtime to meet customer deadlines, as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Aerodyn management.
Academic Qualifications and Work Experience
- Prior experience with high temp alloys including Hast-X, Inconel, 303/304 stainless, 17-4, etc.
- Minimum 3-5 years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
- Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the capabilities/limitations of all conventional/CNC machines and welding equipment
- G & M code programming and Mastercam preferred
