As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will spearhead the development and execution of innovative software solutions from concept to delivery. This senior role blends strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in product design and engineering. You will be replacing the current CTO/Head of Product who is also the CEO.
AfterSchool HQ is a seed stage company, so we are looking for someone who:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, ensuring successful project management and execution.
- Develop and maintain the product’s technical architecture, aligning it with our strategic business objectives.
- Integrate AI technologies into our product to enhance functionality and user engagement.
- Manage and provide leadership for our design and engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Engage with customers and integrate their feedback effectively into our product development.
- Coordinate with the Client Success team to ensure seamless integration of client feedback into product enhancements.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and make strategic decisions to enhance product functionality and market fit.
- Report directly to the CEO, aligning product strategy with the company’s overarching goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Head of Product, Product Manager, or similar role in a tech or SaaS environment.
- Strong foundation in technical architecture with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Exceptional project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and customers.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and a keen understanding of the software development process.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in software products.
