Technical Success Agronomist

Los Angeles, CA, USA
Company Description UnderGround Weather™ by AquaSpy is creating an intelligence layer for agriculture’s most critical yet least understood environment: the soil beneath every field. Leveraging nearly two decades of underground sensing innovation, the platform continuously measures nitrate, ORP, moisture, salinity, and temperature across the crop root zone. These direct measurements feed UnderGround Weather Reporter™, an AI soil intelligence engine that converts billions of real data points from proprietary below ground sensors into actionable agronomic insights.
The company supports growers, agronomists, retailers, researchers, and innovators who aim to optimize nutrient management, improve resource efficiency, and increase profitability. UnderGround Weather specializes in soil intelligence, AI-powered agronomy, precision agriculture, irrigation management, and sustainable farming outcomes.
Role Description The Technical Success Agronomist is a remote role focused on ensuring customers gain maximum value from UnderGround Weather’s soil intelligence solutions. This role provides agronomic guidance, translates sensor and AI-derived data into clear recommendations, and supports users in applying insights to nutrient management, irrigation, and overall crop performance.
Day-to-day responsibilities include onboarding new customers, conducting virtual consultations, assisting with system configuration and interpretation of data, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback. The Technical Success Agronomist will develop educational materials, lead training sessions and webinars, and contribute to best-practice playbooks for diverse crops, regions, and management systems. This role also involves diagnosing issues in data usage, partnering with customer success and sales teams, and helping drive adoption and retention across the customer base.
