Role Overview
Boardable is looking for a motivated and analytical Part- Time Sales Operations & Development Intern to join our growth team. In this role, you will be a critical link in our inbound sales funnel, specifically managing the high-volume quote request process for our small-to-mid-market prospects.
This position is designed for a candidate who aims to master the fundamentals of the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to trial management, with a clear trajectory toward a full-time Business Development Representative (BDR) or Account Executive (AE) role.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Lead Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound quote requests, ensuring rapid response times and high-quality engagement with prospective clients.
Prospect Qualification: Execute initial discovery to determine prospect needs, budget, and timeline, routing high-value opportunities to the appropriate senior sales staff.
Product Trial Coordination: Oversee the lifecycle of free trial users, providing basic technical guidance and ensuring users hit key milestones to drive conversion.
CRM Administration: Maintain data integrity within HubSpot, tracking lead progression and providing weekly reports on inbound volume and conversion rates.
Market Research: Conduct targeted research on inbound accounts to provide senior reps with contextual intelligence prior to discovery calls.
Qualifications & Skills
Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex product information into clear, actionable responses.
Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a quick study on CRM software and sales automation tools.
Professionalism: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of tasks without sacrificing attention to detail.
Aspiration: A demonstrated interest in pursuing a long-term career in professional B2B sales or sales operations.
