Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to design and optimize intuitive user experiences that support both caregivers and administrative users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, to create engaging and accessible digital solutions.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience through a portfolio of UX and visual design projects, strong Figma proficiency, and excellent communication skills.
This is a hybrid/remote-first position and ideal for someone early in their career looking to make a big impact across a variety of healthcare-focused product experiences.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design user-centric interfaces for web and mobile platforms using Figma.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate product requirements and user needs into intuitive UX flows and wireframes.
- Build interactive prototypes for testing and validation of key concepts.
- Apply visual design principles to elevate the overall UI while maintaining accessibility standards.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on user flows.
- Contribute to and help maintain our design system and style guides.
- Present design ideas clearly and effectively through written documentation and verbal presentations.
- Manage feedback from stakeholders and synthesize it into actionable design improvements.
- Ensure seamless handoff of designs and documentation to development teams.
- Work independently and asynchronously with distributed team members.
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of experience in UX and visual design, with a portfolio that demonstrates your process and final outputs.
- High proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component creation, and design system management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a user-first mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in documenting decisions and presenting designs to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating in agile product teams and giving/receiving feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing tools.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or designing for complex, regulated systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary of $55,000 - $65,000. Final offer amount is determined based on experience, skill alignment, and portfolio quality.
