We’ve built an MVP and are now searching for a passionate, dynamic CTO to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a pre-seed, venture-backed startup and help shape the future of our product and company.

Position Details

Location: Fully remote, based in Puerto Rico.
Language Requirements: You must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain the technical aspects of our product.
Collaborate closely with other team members to define and execute the product vision and strategy.
Ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance.
Develop and maintain a long-term technology roadmap.
Support and improve back-end development and database management.
Assist with data science initiatives to enhance product personalization and user experience.
Oversee potential migration from Firebase to Node.js if necessary.

Technical Requirements

Experience with Flutter and FlutterFlow for cross-platform app development.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform for hosting and backend services.
Strong understanding of Firebase for database management and authentication, or Node.js as an alternative.
Proficiency in back-end development and API creation.
Knowledge in data science and the ability to work with large datasets.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage potential system migrations.

An added extra if you have these:

Experience in iOS (12.0 to 15.0), Swift using XCode, and Android (6.0 to 12.0), Java/Kotlin using Android Studio.
Proficiency in Python using Django for API and Web Portal development.
Familiarity with MySQL/MongoDB and data structures.
Understanding of Json format, Single Currency Support, and Portrait Support.
Experience with AWS Database, Rekognition, Google Analytics, Firebase, Google Data Studio.
Supported browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge Browser, Apple Safari.
