The Role
We are looking for a full-time Growth Marketing Manager to own the end-to-end growth of our consumer AI apps. You will set the strategy, run the experiments, ship the content, and grow installs, activations, and retention across our product portfolio — including flagship apps already in market and new products we launch.
An entrepreneurial mindset, down-to-earth attitude, creative thinking, and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end growth strategy and execution for our portfolio of consumer AI productivity apps.
• Drive App Store Optimization (ASO) on the iOS App Store and Google Play — keywords, listing copy, creatives, screenshots, ratings, conversion funnels, and featuring strategy.
• Build and execute SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies to drive organic traffic from both traditional search (Google, Bing) and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
• Plan and produce content marketing — blog posts, landing pages, tutorials, comparison pages, release notes, and newsletters — that both ranks in search and converts readers into users.
• Lead social media strategy and execution across platforms such as X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc. — including content calendars, community management, and organic growth tactics.
• Run our influencer and creator marketing programs — identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with influencers and affiliate partners to drive installs and retention.
• Own the marketing content and brand voice across website, blog, app store listings, social posts, email campaigns, and product launches.
• Create simple marketing visuals in-house — social graphics, blog headers, app store screenshots, short videos/GIFs — using modern design and AI tools (Figma, Canva, Midjourney, Runway, etc.).
• Work closely with product, engineering, and leadership to align growth experiments with the product roadmap.
• Track, analyze, and report on the full funnel — install, activation, retention, reactivation — and iterate quickly based on data.
Requirements
• At least 4–5 years of hands-on growth marketing experience, with a strong track record in consumer mobile and/or SaaS apps.
• Proven success promoting mobile apps on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play. Candidates must be able to share concrete examples of apps they helped grow — rankings, install volume, featuring, ASO wins, etc.
• Demonstrated success in most of the following channels (not just theory — real campaigns with real results):
◦ SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization for AI search).
◦ Blog and content marketing.
◦ Social media marketing (organic growth, community, short-form video).
◦ Influencer and creator marketing.
• Deeply familiar with modern AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, and similar — and able to use them every day to accelerate research, content, and creative production.
• Comfortable creating basic marketing visuals yourself in Figma, Canva, or similar tools. You don’t need to be a full-time designer, but you can ship a clean social post, blog header, or app store screenshot without waiting on someone else.
• Strong analytical skills — able to set up tracking, read the data, and translate it into the next experiment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Chinese is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, willing to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced startup.
Nice to have
• Prior experience growing an AI-first or productivity consumer app.
• Hands-on experience with ASO tools (AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, AppFollow, etc.).
• Short-form video production skills (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
• Experience managing a small team, agency, or network of freelancers.
