Growth Marketing Intern
Laxis
Marketing & Communications, Sales & Business Development
United States
Laxis is an AI startup backed by top VCs. Our vision is to build an AI workforce that makes every professional more productive. We build a growing portfolio of AI productivity apps used by tens of thousands of users to capture, organize, and act on what matters — with more products in the pipeline.
The Role
We are hiring a Growth Marketing Intern for Summer 2026 to work directly with our Growth Marketing Manager and help drive user growth for our consumer AI apps. This is a hands-on role: you will ship real campaigns, real content, and real experiments — not make coffee and take notes.
You’ll get an end-to-end look at how a modern AI startup grows its products — across content, SEO/GEO, social, influencer marketing, and app stores — and learn to use the latest AI tools every day to move faster.
Please note: this is an unpaid internship. We are happy to support academic credit where your school allows it.
What you will do
• Support content and SEO/GEO work — research keywords and AI-search queries, draft blog posts and landing page copy, and help optimize existing content to rank in Google and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
• Help run social media — draft posts, schedule content, jump into comments/community, and produce short-form video and image content for platforms like X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Xiaohongshu.
• Help run influencer and creator outreach — build target lists, send outreach, track conversations, and keep the partnership pipeline organized.
• Support ASO on the iOS App Store and Google Play — research competitors and keywords, draft listing copy, create screenshot concepts, and help monitor reviews and ratings.
• Create simple marketing visuals in Figma, Canva, or similar tools — social graphics, blog headers, ad creatives, and app store screenshots.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Runway, Canva AI, etc.) every day to accelerate research, writing, and creative production.
• Track campaign performance, pull basic data, and help turn results into the next experiment.
• Jump in wherever the team needs help — this is a startup, and scope flexes week to week.
What we are looking for:
• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student — marketing, business, communications, journalism, or design backgrounds are a plus, but not required.
• Genuine interest in AI, consumer apps, and how products grow.
• Strong written communication in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Comfortable with (or excited to learn) AI tools — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc. — and able to use them to work faster.
• Some hands-on experience in at least one of the following (school projects, clubs, personal brand, or side projects all count):
◦ Writing blog posts, articles, or long-form content.
◦ Running social media accounts (personal, club, or brand).
◦ Basic design in Figma, Canva, or similar.
◦ Short-form video or photo content.
• Self-starter with a bias toward shipping — you’d rather publish a rough-but-good post today than a perfect one next month.
• Organized, responsive, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
• Curious, resourceful, and willing to learn publicly (including from mistakes).
What you will get:
• Real ownership over real marketing work at an AI startup — your posts, your experiments, your data.
• Direct mentorship from our Growth Marketing Manager and exposure to product and leadership teams.
• Hands-on training in modern growth stacks: SEO, GEO, ASO, social, influencer marketing, and AI-powered content workflows.
• Portfolio pieces you can show future employers — real campaigns, real results, real links.
• Academic credit supported where your school allows it.
• A strong reference (and, for standout interns, potential conversion to a full-time role after graduation).
How to apply
Send us your resume plus a short note to info@laxis.tech : (1) what AI tools you use today and for what, and (2) a link to something you’ve written, posted, or created that you’re proud of — a blog post, a TikTok, a social account, a school project, anything real.
