About the Job
We are hiring a Launch & Operations Lead to drive launch readiness and coordinated execution for the commercial introduction of Ossium Health’s novel cryopreserved HPC-Marrow product. This role sits at the center of launch activities; responsible for aligning messaging, materials, training, and operational workflows to ensure seamless commercial adoption across transplant centers at launch. You’ll lead campaign development, omnichannel marketing, and field enablement, while partnering with Medical Affairs on educational tools and programs.
You will coordinate preparation of the Rapid Response Hub, field onboarding resources, and launch communications to ensure transplant centers can successfully adopt HPC-Marrow from day one.
This position requires strong cross-functional leadership across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Field Account Management, Clinical Operations, and external agency partners. You’ll serve as the internal launch quarterback; translating strategy into execution and ensuring readiness across all stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences field or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in product management, launch readiness, marketing operations, or related roles in biotech, pharma, or medical device industries
- Proven experience leading or supporting commercial launches, ideally for hospital-administered, specialty, or complex therapies
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and vendor/agency partnerships
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to oversee multiple parallel workstreams
- Experience developing HCP educational materials, marketing tools, or launch communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on experience with either direct people management or dotted line management in cross-functional teams
- Skilled collaborator with scientific, clinical, and commercial stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- This position is based full time in our San Francisco headquarters; we maintain a hybrid schedule with Ossies in the office Monday - Thursday, and Friday as an optional work from anywhere day
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or similar)
- Experience in hematology, oncology, transplant, cell/gene therapy, or related therapeutic areas
- Experience in omnichannel and digital HCP engagement
- Familiarity with Medical Affairs collaboration and KOL engagement
- Background supporting sales enablement, field training, or patient support services/hub programs
- Experience in early-stage or pre-commercial biotech environments
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage product marketing and all launch readiness activities
- Develop and oversee the integrated launch plan, timeline, and cross-functional deliverables
- Coordinate internal launch governance, workstreams, and risk mitigation plans
- Ensure alignment of commercial, medical, and operational strategies and messaging
- Lead HCP campaign strategy, creative development, and omnichannel execution
- Oversee preparation of marketing and onboarding materials for transplant centers
- Develop field playbooks, training materials, FAQs, and operational guidance for FAMs and MSLs
- Partner with agencies and vendors for creative development and tactical execution
- Build and operationalize the Rapid Response Hub and account onboarding resources
- Drive internal launch communications and readiness training across stakeholder teams
- Partner closely with Medical Affairs to deliver aligned educational and scientific tools
In your first six months some projects you’ll work on include:
- Refine and operationalize the HPC-Marrow integrated launch plan
- Stand up the Rapid Response Hub processes and onboarding workflows
- Lead development of core Health Care Provider campaign materials and omnichannel engagement plan
- Establish cross-functional launch governance and readiness tracking
This position has a compensation range of $200,000 - $240,000 annually. Ossium Health takes a market-based approach to pay. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
