Ostoform is looking to hire an Inside Sales Specialist in the United States to support its innovative FLOWASSIST product line. The chosen Inside Sales Specialist will work directly with our Director of Sales to support the execution of the territory plan. This position will offer a fantastic opportunity to enter the medical device field and gain a solid understanding of medical device sales. Most importantly, the chosen Inside Sales Specialist will have the ability to positively impact the lives of those living with a stoma.
Position Type
- The position will be based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- The primary location for this position will be the Ostoform office at 200 E. Main Street, Suite 910.
- The position can be a hybrid position, based on performance, and personal circumstances. This is at the discretion of the hiring manager
Job Description The Inside Sales Specialist will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and will support the growth of the company’s customer base by engaging directly health care providers. The position will be based in Fort Wayne, Indiana with all sales efforts conducted electronically and virtually. The position will focus exclusively on Northeast United States sales efforts. The Inside Sales Specialist will be an extension of the Sales Director located in the Northeast United States.
This role will include, but will not be limited to the following areas:

Gaining a strong ostomy market understanding, specifically, clinical, competitive and continuum of care.

Utilizing a CRM to manage territory.

Supporting the execution of a territory sales plan.

Conducting direct outreach to healthcare providers to establish relationships and schedule consultative selling appointments.
In particular:

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Contacting potential clients or customers to initiate conversations and qualify leads.

Lead Nurturing: Following up with leads, prospects, and clients after initial contact or meetings to maintain engagement and move opportunities forward.

Sales Communication/Client Support: Acting as a liaison between sales teams, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and information flow. Providing support to existing clients or customers.
Event Coordination: Assisting in the organization and coordination of events such as conferences, trade shows, and webinars to generate leads and promote the company's offerings.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- A university bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two years of experience in sales roles.
- Experience with consultative selling platforms.
- Excellent working knowledge of CRM systems to manage sales pipeline.
- Highly motivated, results focused individual.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
