About the Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist manages and optimizes digital advertising campaigns and e-commerce visibility across Google’s marketing ecosystem. This role is responsible for driving performance across Google Ads and Merchant Center while ensuring accurate setup, tracking, and ongoing optimization.
The ideal candidate combines strong platform expertise with an analytical mindset and a structured, detail-oriented approach to campaign management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously optimize Google Ads campaigns to achieve performance and ROI targets.
- Support client onboarding for Google Ads and Merchant Center, ensuring accurate account setup, configuration, and activation.
- Conduct keyword research and testing initiatives to identify performance and growth opportunities.
- Analyze campaign performance using GA4 and other tools, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present performance reports, tracking key metrics such as conversions, CTR, CPC, and ROAS.
- Manage product feeds within Google Merchant Center, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and optimal visibility.
- Maintain and optimize business listings to support local search presence and brand consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align campaign execution with business objectives and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns and related Google marketing platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field OR equivalent professional experience in digital marketing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns).
- Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including event tracking, conversions, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Center, including product feed management and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads certification
- Google Analytics certification
- Experience with other digital marketing channels (social media, email marketing, SEO)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and conversion rate optimization
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- Familiarity with automotive dealership operations or SaaS platforms is a plus
