We’re seeking a driven Account Manager who’s both hunter and farmer, equally skilled at landing new customers and expanding existing ones. You’ll own direct revenue growth across key verticals like manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services. This role blends outbound pursuit, relationship cultivation, and account expansion — and demands energy, follow-through, and a relentless focus on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Execution
- Own a revenue target across new and existing customer accounts — responsible for driving both acquisition and expansion.
- Proactively prospect and qualify new customers, identify whitespace in existing accounts, and convert conversations into booked revenue.
- Lead customer meetings — from initial discovery to proposal, close, and renewal — with crisp follow-up and deal discipline.
- Collaborate with Stellar’s technical and delivery teams to scope opportunities and ensure commitments are met flawlessly.
- Maintain rigorous pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy in HubSpot; you own your book of business with a lot of support from the Stellar CEO and team.
New Business Development (Hunter Mode)
- Identify and engage potential customers in high-value verticals through outbound outreach, referrals, and partner collaboration.
- Schedule and drive weekly discovery meetings with new prospects to uncover pain points and position Stellar’s AI and automation capabilities.
- Leverage Stellar outbound automation, your own lead gen capabilities, and the Stellar referral partner network to drive opportunities and results.
Account Expansion & Retention (High Growth Farmer Mode)
- Serve as the primary account manager for assigned customers — earning trusted-advisor status through responsiveness, insight, and results.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to showcase ROI, surface new needs, and chart expansion paths.
- Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across departments, divisions, or business units.
- Monitor renewals, satisfaction, and health indicators to ensure retention and early renewal execution.
Account Strategy & Planning
- Develop Account Growth Plans for priority customers: goals, projects, relationships, expansion plays, and risks.
- Map customer orgs and strategic initiatives to identify whitespace and align Stellar solutions to upcoming priorities.
- Coordinate internally to bring leadership, engineering, and delivery resources to the right opportunities at the right time.
Performance Metrics
- Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned annual and quarterly revenue goals.
- Pipeline Creation: Maintain a steady stream of qualified opportunities — new and expansion.
- Customer Engagement: Minimum monthly touchpoints with every active account; QBRs quarterly.
- Forecast Accuracy: Maintain sales operations discipline, pipeline visibility and management
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver measurable impact and renewal confidence through discipline, execution and strong relationship building skills.
Qualifications
- 4 – 8 years of experience in account management, business development, or enterprise sales, ideally in technology, IT services, or AI/automation.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and executive presence — you’re comfortable leading strategic conversations with C‑suite stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple opportunities at once in a high-velocity environment.
- Proficiency in HubSpot (or similar CRM) with exceptional documentation and forecast discipline.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive — thrives on ownership, pace, and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field).
