TayCo Brace is a medical device company specializing in unique ankle braces that fit outside the shoe. TayCo Brace offers immediate functional recovery and allows patients to return to work, sports, and the activities they love. Developed by Mike Bean, the athletic trainer for the University of Notre Dame Football Team, the brace is rugged enough for NFL or NCAA football games but lightweight and nimble enough for everyday patients.

Role Description

This is a full-time or part time role for a Staff Accountant in South Bend, IN, with flexible hours and work from home flexibility. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial activities including bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing financial models, and providing strategic financial insights. The Staff Accountant will also oversee tax preparation with 3rd party partners.

Qualifications

Bookkeeping
Accounting and Financial Reporting skills
Budgeting, Financial Planning, and Analysis experience
Compliance and Regulatory knowledge
Experience in developing financial models and strategic insights
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Netsuite (ERP and accounting software)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus
