Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Assistant at Toralgen. The Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for leading safety, procedure compliance and working with the Laboratory Manager to ensure effective management of lab operations.

Safety Leader:

• Be an advocate for safety in the lab, Ensure First Aid Kit is stocked, Assemble Spill Kits, ensure PPE is available, create Lab Donning/Doffing Workflow
• Record and track company Safety Incidents

Workforce Compliance:

• Perform Notebook audits, reviews, training
• Maintain the protocol log, ensure protocol closure within 30-days
• Assist with writing SOPs and document collaborations
• Report QA metrics on a weekly basis
• Update the SOP and DCO log as needed

Administrative Duties:

• Perform operations and facilities errands as needed
• Take Meeting Minutes and record action items as needed
• Perform Meeting Planning and Setup for all departments
• Ensure the Guest Signature log is maintained
• Update and audit the company training log on set intervals
• Lab Logistic Duties:
• Update the API, polymer, nanoparticle inventory log
• Maintain the order log, place orders, track shipments and provide status updates
• Receive in ordered items by documenting in Receiving log, distribute items to designated lab space(s)
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance and calibration scheduling
• Organization and stock lab consumables
• Organize freezer/refrigerator storage space(s) for Intermediate Drug Products, Formulation Inventory, APIs, Critical Ingredient Inventory
• Create inventory list and perform cycle counts once established
• Vendor Interfacing (Account, Ordering, Status) for lab consumables
• Shipping (Coordinating Shipments, Communication, Forms, Tracking)
