Mission

Our customers use Traduality to serve their limited-English members in their own language, reliably and securely. You will build features across our multicultural customer experience products that use real-time speech translation: Fire Lingo Face-to-Face and Fire Lingo Contact Center, turning what customers ask for into working product, with guidance and review from our Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities

• Build features and bug fixes across our iPad app, our web applications and our backend, with guidance from the Engineering Lead.
• Help build and ship releases of the iPad app, including App Store submission.
• Add and improve the languages we support.
• Use agentic engineering (e.g. Claude Code) to deliver work: follow development plans and task specs, and test and read everything the agent produces.
• Help handle customer-reported issues: reproduce, fix, test and confirm the fix.
• Write tests for what you build, and clear notes on how you verified it.
• Build every feature with security and member-data privacy in mind.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional software development, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects (internships, freelance or personal work count).
• Fluent English. Spanish is a plus.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents, with the discipline to test and review what they produce.
• Programming experience in Go or TypeScript, and a willingness to work in Go daily.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS and TypeScript.
• Git and pull-request workflows.
• Several hours of daily overlap with US Eastern business hours.

Preferred

• Swift/SwiftUI or other native mobile experience
• SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience with AI APIs (speech recognition, translation, text-to-speech, LLMs)
