SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for qualifying cold prospects into warm opportunities that can be handed off to the Govcon BD team in order to grow the sales pipeline and close new client accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Outreach
- Leveraging AI tools to identify high-potential leads and tailor outreach strategies to engage prospects effectively.
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, initiating conversations and introducing them to Trek10.
- Potentially attend industry conferences, meetings, and networking events with a specific focus on developing relationships tied to generating new business and establishing partner relations
Lead Qualification
- Assess inbound and outbound leads to determine their potential fit with Trek10’s services and hand off qualified leads to the sales team.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
Meeting Scheduling
- Coordinate and schedule discovery meetings between qualified leads and the sales team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and strategies that drive lead generation and conversion.
CRM Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including contact details, interactions, and next steps, to ensure pipeline visibility and integrity.
- Monitor and report on key metrics (e.g., calls made, meetings booked, conversion rates) to continuously optimize efforts.
Results Orientation:
- Consistently hit assigned KPI’s ensuring a high likelihood of closing deals and adding long-term partners to the Trek10 client base.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (achievements/accomplishments)
- Experience working with the US Department of Defense
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn with a hunter mentality to prospect for leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Ability to travel (10%).
