- Work directly with shared operations centers to align engineering support with production priorities, resource availability, and schedule needs across the site.
- Identify manufacturing, tooling, equipment, or capacity needs and communicate required resources to program and operations leadership to support on-time and on-budget execution.
- Support bids and proposals through development of labor estimates, material requirements, and manufacturing approach input.
- Support purchasing and material planning activities, including Requests to Purchase and review of MRP-generated buy reports, while coordinating required approvals through the appropriate functions.
- Generate and maintain piece-part routers and related process definitions for simple to moderately complex parts and shared operations processes such as machining, clean and prime, tooling, and related fabrication activities.
- Provide day-to-day engineering support to production and shared operations teams to help resolve technical issues, remove process barriers, and improve execution.
- Follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
