OVERVIEW OF POSITION:
Provides essential organizational oversight of coordinated efforts for Quality Assurance initiatives supporting AS9100, Nadcap, and the Material Test Lab.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and coordinate internal audits per AS9100 schedule.
- Supports/Chairs Corrective Action Board under the leadership of the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Manages Business System document revisions and additions in the Quality Management System database.
- Provide oversight and routine approval of testing cycles performed by Operations (SAT).
- Perform Calibration Certification of Compliance review and approval per PO requirements.
- Scan Work Orders to support archive initiatives.
- Perform FOD audits in support of Quality Objectives.
- Perform Work Order audits in a production work environment.
- Support Material Test Lab daily test sample pick up and results distribution.
- Supports 3rd Party audits as required by the Director of Quality Assurance.
GENERAL:
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of full Microsoft Office suite a must. Database management a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Experience in an office environment is preferred.
- Reports to the Quality Assurance Director
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Good people skills, good listener.
