Warrant Technologies
Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and associated tools.
Administer and support virtualization technologies such as VMware vSAN, DRS, HA, and vMotion.
Build and manage RHEL Linux servers and services in both virtual and physical environments.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across Linux and virtualized environments.
Apply security patches and updates, perform system hardening, and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Networking teams on system integration and automation.
Maintain documentation related to systems configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident resolution.
Solve computer problems and apply computer technology to meet the individual needs of an organization.
Define the goals of the system and divide the solutions into individual steps and separate procedures. Typical techniques are structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, mathematical model building, sampling, and cost accounting.
Specify the inputs to be accessed by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to meet users’ needs.
Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to help management decide whether implementing the proposed technology will be financially feasible. After system acceptance, determine what computer hardware and software will be needed to set the system up.
Coordinate tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure that it performs as planned. Work with programmers to debug the system.
At least seven (6) years’ professional experience in computer systems engineering.
3–5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter).
Strong working knowledge of RHEL Linux systems administration.
Experience with system monitoring and performance tools
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex environments
MUST be a US Citizen
Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
CompTIA Security Plus certification or any IAT Level II Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation/configuration management tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Cyber-Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
Must obtain or be willing to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification
