Logistician III/IV - Radar Systems

The Logistician III provides comprehensive logistics support for radar systems and associated equipment throughout all phases of the system life cycle. This position supports provisioning, supply chain management, maintenance planning, technical documentation, and configuration management for U.S. Navy and DoD radar programs. The Logistician III ensures effective coordination between engineering, program management, and field support teams to deliver high-quality, timely logistics solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain logistics product data (LPD) and provisioning documentation for radar systems.
- Conduct Level of Repair Analyses (LORA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and maintenance task analysis.
- Support development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in creating and updating Bill of Materials (BOM) and parts lists for radar subsystems.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
- Track and manage configuration changes, spares, and obsolescence management.
- Support life cycle sustainment planning and logistics readiness reviews (LRRs).
- Provide data input and updates in Navy logistics databases (e.g., CDMD-OA, TDMIS, or equivalent).
- Participate in radar installation, test, and evaluation events as logistics representative.
- Work closely with engineers and field service personnel to resolve logistics and maintenance issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in logistics support, preferably supporting DoD radar or sensor systems.
- Knowledge of Navy logistics databases, configuration management systems, and maintenance planning tools.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD and DoD ILS requirements.
- Active or eligible for a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting AN/SPY, AN/SPS, or similar radar systems.
- Certified Logistician or DAWIA Level II/III in Life Cycle Logistics.
- Experience with maintenance planning and provisioning software.
