The Program Manager (Radar Programs) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of radar-related programs and projects within Warrant Technologies. This position oversees technical performance, cost, schedule, and risk to ensure successful delivery of products and services to DoD customers. The Program Manager serves as the primary interface between the customer, subcontractors, and internal engineering and support teams, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of radar system development, integration, and sustainment programs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for DoD customers, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget using effective project management tools and methodologies.
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including engineering, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure program objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
- Track program performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership and customers.
- Identify and mitigate program risks while ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support proposal development, including work breakdown structures, cost estimates, and technical narratives for radar-related pursuits.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing technical or defense programs, with at least 3 years focused on radar systems or related technologies.
- Proven experience with DoD acquisition processes, contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M), and customer interface.
- Strong understanding of radar system design, testing, and performance parameters.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Management, or a related technical discipline.
- PMP® Certification or DAU Program Management Level II/III certification.
- Prior experience working in a small business or DoD contractor environment.
