Warrant Technologies is seeking a Journeyman Software Sustainer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of mission-critical software systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing web and server-side applications using Java, Spring frameworks, RESTful services, and Oracle-based SQL. This role will work closely with a collaborative team to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and contribute to the sustainment of existing applications within an Agile environment.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of professional development experience, a strong understanding of backend development practices, and an active DoD Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret). Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, TypeScript, SASS, and state management tools like NgRx is a strong plus, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Struts, Node.js, and iText. A Security+ certification is also desired.

This position is ideal for a motivated developer who enjoys problem-solving, supporting operational systems, and working in a dynamic DevOps environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years web/application development experience with strong proven understanding of

Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Data,

• 3+ years development experience of building and supporting server-side components

using RESTful services

• 3+ years development experience of building and supporting backend Oracle-based SQL

• DOD Secret Security Clearance (Interim Secret to start)

• Experience in software development as a developer, with at least 2 years working on

sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an Agile methodology framework

• Development experience with Angular 12+, SASS, TypeScript, and Node JS experience

• Development experience using State Management libraries (NgRx)

• Experience building and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD

tools

• Development experience using Maven

• Development experience using Struts

• iText experience

• Security+ Certification

Ideal candidate would also have:

• Experience in software development as a developer, with at least 2 years working on
