Wicked Technologies is on a mission to improve our customers' lives through innovative, high-quality bedding solutions. As we scale, we’re looking for an on-site Quality Manager to own and scale our company's quality systems. This role requires someone who understands that quality is a mindset and is never finished.
Job Responsibilities: Quality Management System (QMS)- Own, maintain, and improve our QMS (aligned with ISO 13485 and FDA requirements)
- Manage and create practical, usable SOPs and processes that support a high-growth company (not shelfware)
- Lead internal audits, document control, and training systems
- Support quality metrics and management review
- Balance quality infrastructure investment against commercial priorities and perform risk management
- Own complaint intake, investigation, and resolution
- Identify trends and turn feedback into actionable improvements
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Communicate post-market risk to leadership so that quality data informs commercial strategy
- Implement incoming inspection, in-process, and final quality controls
- Partner closely with operations to reduce defects and improve consistency
- Manage nonconforming materials and supplier quality feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and customer success
- Translate real-world issues into product and process improvements
- Support design changes, validation, and risk-based thinking
- Be the voice of quality and champion a quality mindset across the company
- 3–7+ years in Quality Engineering (manufacturing required; medical device a plus)
- Experience with ISO 13485 or FDA QSR (or strong exposure and willingness to learn)
- Strong problem-solving skills (root cause, CAPA, etc.)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Someone who takes ownership and builds—not just maintains
- Management & Lean Manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions
- Can translate quality risk into business impact: cost, customer attrition, regulatory exposure, and competitive positioning
- Comfortable presenting recommendations and trade-offs to leadership with clarity
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience)
