Job Purpose:
- The Sales Agent is responsible to set the strategy for sales growth for products, grow products, and assist the Branch Manager by getting new accounts or increasing the market share of existing accounts.
- The Sales Agent is responsible for determining profit margins for products within the commercial function in alignment with the branch managers.
- The Sales Agent is accountable for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
- The Sales Agent role requires a strongly motivated person that can meet customer’s expectations and be able to take a hands-on approach to problem solving and decision making.
Key Accountabilities:
Sales Strategy
- Ensure the execution of the strategy for sales growth within products in the respective branch.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs.
- Recommend enhancements of current sales programs to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
- Protect the company benefit by strictly complying with all policies and regulations.
Sales Reports and Plans
- Create and submit sales reports to the Branch Manager and other management when required.
- Create Sales plans aimed at expanding customer base and market share of new and existing products.
- Develop annual sales quotas projecting expected sales volumes and profits for existing and new customers.
- Create studies on the market, competitors, carriers, manufactures, and update studies with market trends, fluctuations and changes.
Market Share
- Contribute to the regional and global business development by getting new accounts or increasing the market share of existing accounts.
- Develop market share with existing customers to the agreed annual target.
- Determine profit margins on products buying rates and offering selling rates.
- Explore new areas of growth for Bahri Logistics products and offering.
Customer Relationships
- Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including: face to face meetings, telephone calls, emails, etc.
- Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers.
Leadership
- Oversee the supervision of sales representatives at the branches.
- Understand the team capabilities, envision upskilling requirements for the team and arrange necessary trainings with HR team.
- Provide coaching when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing or any related field.
- 6 years of experience in a required field.
