We're looking for seven (7) Senior Sales Agents to join a well-funded Tampa-based energy and utility startup serving as the exclusive manufacturer’s representative for the creator of the industry’s first Virtual Utility—a groundbreaking product redefining how businesses access, generate, and control power.
Each industry-specific Senior Agent will be responsible for driving the adoption of Virtual Utility solutions within one of the specific targeted industry verticals below. These are high-impact, very high-reward positions.
You will lead direct sales efforts, build and enable a specialized channel partner network, and close high-value deals with C-Suite decision makers. This highly lucrative role requires a consultative, visionary mindset—the ability to help sophisticated organizations rethink their long-term energy strategy, quantify operational risk, and recognize the strategic value of owning secure, independent power.
This is not traditional equipment sales. This is the commercialization of an entirely new category in energy.
Industry Vertical Assignments (one Sr. Sales Agent for each vertical)
Senior Sales Agents will be assigned a sector based on expertise and relationships:
- Food: Grocery Distribution, Commercial Growers, Food Prep, Refrigerated Products
- Chemical Manufacturing: Plastics, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Plants, Fertilizer
- Physical Manufacturing: Automotive, Semiconductor, CNC, Aerospace, Foundries, Glass, Pipe & Tube
- Oil, Gas & Mining: Natural Gas, Offshore/Remote Rigs, Pipeline Control Centers
- Government & Health: Defense, Wastewater, Hospitals, Municipalities, Recycling Plants
- Recovery, Distribution & Hospitality: Disaster Relief, Cruise, Sports Venues, Convention Centers
- CRE & Education: Affordable/Multi-Family Housing, Office, Retail, Universities
Compensation, Benefits, Location:
- 100% employer-paid healthcare
- Base salary of $150k + extremely lucrative commission potential
- 401k eligible on first payroll; company will match up to 4% of gross pay
- Monthly cell phone stipend
- PTO in first year accumulates 120 hours in first 12 months

As a Senior Sales Lead, you will be at the forefront of bringing this paradigm shift to market.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Development & Enablement
- Source, recruit, and onboard high-potential channel partners within your industry vertical.
- Conduct training and onboarding to ensure partners understand the value proposition of system Sales, Leases, and Energy Service Agreements (ESAs).
- Drive partner performance by coaching them toward active pipeline development and consistent deal execution.
Direct Sales Leadership
- Take full ownership of your vertical’s sales pipeline, from opportunity creation through signed Sales, Lease, or ESA contracts.
- Engage directly with C-Suite executives (CEO, COO, CFO), presenting complex energy concepts in simple, compelling terms.
- Guide customers through a 5–10 year power strategy conversation, aligning our Virtual Utility model with their operational and financial priorities.
- Close flagship deals that demonstrate the strategic value of owning private power infrastructure.
Market & Relationship Leadership
- Leverage deep industry expertise to identify high-value targets such as energy-intensive operations, continuity-critical facilities, and risk-averse enterprises.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts, industry associations, and influential stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert within your vertical, helping shape product strategy, marketing initiatives, and partner programs.
Performance & Revenue Accountability
Success in this role is measured against a unified revenue and pipeline target, including:
- Total Unit Sales Value
- Total New ESA Contract Value
- Total Lease Contract Value
- Overall pipeline contribution, including direct deals and partner-generated opportunities
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct B2B sales experience closing complex, high-value deals with C-Suite leaders.
- Proven track record of building, enabling, and leading a successful channel partner network.
- Deep expertise in at least one of the industry verticals listed, including existing relationships with owners, operators, or executive stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex energy concepts in simple, business-centric language.
- Experience with multi-stakeholder decision cycles and long sales horizons.
- Strong financial acumen, able to articulate the business case for private power ownership (ROI, TCO, risk mitigation, continuity planning).
- High integrity, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling energy infrastructure, industrial equipment, capital systems, or technical solutions with significant operational impact.
- Understanding of power systems, distributed energy, microgrids, or related technologies (not required but highly advantageous).
- Familiarity with lease structuring, ESAs, or long-term service contracts.
