Location: Remote, United States (must reside in the U.S.)
Travel: Up to ~40% nationally
Compensation: Base salary $160,000–$230,000, plus incentive
A leading, established network infrastructure solutions manufacturer is confidentially seeking a Director of Sales to lead a high-impact, national commercial organization. This role carries broad visibility and ownership for driving profitable growth, expanding market share, strengthening channel performance, and displacing competitors across the U.S. footprint. The Director will serve as both a strategic leader and an active change agent, responsible for setting direction while remaining closely engaged in the business’s most critical opportunities.
The role oversees a multi-layered commercial organization that may include Business Managers, Account Managers, Channel and Strategic Account Managers, Internal Sales, Technical Systems Engineers, and a broad partner ecosystem. You will own national revenue and profitability performance, build and execute operating and account strategies aligned to theater-level priorities, and ensure disciplined forecasting, pipeline health, and productivity management. A core focus will be accelerating channel and partner growth through effective use of partner programs, certifications, pricing and discount strategies, and enablement to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
Success in this role requires a leader who can attract, develop, and retain top commercial talent. You will coach and scale leaders across direct and matrix teams, establish a high-performance culture, and elevate sales execution through clear expectations, training, recognition, and accountability. You will also build senior-level relationships with strategic customers and partners, expanding solution footprint, wallet share, and long-term loyalty, while influencing cross-functional stakeholders in a complex, global matrix environment.
This opportunity is best suited for a proven Network Infrastructure leader with experience across structured cabling, connectivity, fiber, or related infrastructure solutions. Candidates should bring a track record of leading nationwide or multi-region sales organizations within large, complex enterprises, delivering measurable growth and profitability. Strong executive presence, sound business judgment, and the ability to navigate competitive, partner-driven sales environments are essential. The role requires the ability to travel up to approximately 40% nationally.
- A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Candidates should have 10+ years of commercial experience, including at least 8 years in sales leadership roles and demonstrated success driving growth within network infrastructure or adjacent ecosystems.
- Experience within major manufacturers and sophisticated channel models is highly desirable.
This is a rare opportunity to lead at scale, shape national strategy, and materially impact growth and market position while developing a high-performing commercial organization.
